Delicious and colorful fruit kabobs perfect for Fourth of July celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 12 medium length wooden kabob sticks (approximately 68 inches long)
  • 12 strawberries (halved lengthwise OR 24 raspberries)
  • 48 blueberries OR 24 blackberries
  • 24 banana slices (about 1/2 inch thick) OR 24 regular marshmallows OR 24 1-inch chunks of angel food cake OR 24 1-inch chunks of pound cake

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing your ingredients. If you choose strawberries, slice them in half lengthwise.
  2. Take a wooden kabob stick and thread on a strawberry half (or a raspberry) at the bottom.
  3. Follow with your choice of white fruit: banana slices, marshmallows, or cake chunks.
  4. Next, add two blueberries or one blackberry onto the skewer.
  5. Repeat layering until you reach the end of the kabob stick.
  6. Once done, serve your fruit kabobs immediately, or cover them with plastic wrap and store in the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator wrapped in plastic wrap for up to 12 hours for best freshness and flavor.
