Description
Crisp asparagus spears with a bright lemon finish, cooked in minutes using an air fryer. Tender-crisp texture and vibrant flavor make this a restaurant-quality side with minimal effort.
Ingredients
1 bunch asparagus
1–2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Sea salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 370°F (188°C)
Hold one asparagus spear at each end and bend until it snaps to trim uniformly
Drizzle trimmed asparagus with olive oil and season with sea salt and black pepper
Toss gently to coat evenly
Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket
Cook for 8 minutes without flipping
Remove and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the hot asparagus
Notes
Use avocado oil for higher heat tolerance
Adjust cooking time based on spears thickness
Fresh lemon juice is essential for the glossy finish
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days
