Ingredients

12 small tortillas (corn or flour)

2 cups cooked and seasoned ground beef

2 cups grilled or shredded chicken

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup chopped onions

1 cup shredded cheese

1/2 cup sour cream or crema

1 cup salsa

1 avocado, sliced

Optional: jalapeños, lime wedges, fresh herbs

Instructions

1. Prepare all toppings by chopping vegetables and placing them in serving bowls.

2. Cook and season ground beef until fully done.

3. Grill or heat chicken and slice or shred into pieces.

4. Warm tortillas in a pan or wrap in foil and heat in the oven.

5. Arrange a table with plates and napkins at the start.

6. Place tortillas next, followed by proteins, toppings, and sauces.

7. Keep proteins warm in covered dishes.

8. Set out serving spoons for each ingredient.

9. Allow guests to build their own tacos with preferred toppings.

10. Refill items as needed during serving.
