Ingredients

Scale
  • 11/4 lb ground beef
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Kraft Creamy Melt Mozzarella Cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 12 Hawaiian dinner rolls
  • 2 Tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1/2 tsp Johnny’s garlic bread seasoning
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease the bottom of a 9×13 glass baking dish with butter.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef. Sprinkle it with onion powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Break up the beef while it cooks until browned. Set aside once done.
  3. Carefully cut the entire lot of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally with a serrated knife without separating them.
  4. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the greased dish.
  5. Layer the six slices of American cheese over the rolls.
  6. Spoon the cooked ground beef mixture over the cheese.
  7. Evenly sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the beef, followed by the sharp cheddar cheese.
  8. Place the top half of the rolls on the cheeses.
  9. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with Johnny’s garlic bread seasoning. Brush this mix over the top of the rolls.
  10. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  11. Bake uncovered in the oven for 14-16 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

Notes

Drain excess grease from the cooked ground beef to avoid soggy sliders. Customize with your favorite toppings for extra flavor.
